Tilting at Windmills

This morning Mrs CBL and I visited the Nature Reserve at Balmedie a few miles north of Aberdeen. The reserve borders on to Trump International Golf Course, which according to The Donald is one of the very best in the world!!!

Just one mile offshore are the controversial wind turbines that caused President Trump so much consternation and upset. He protested to the highest court in the land but lost. So a few weeks ago the windmills, as he referred to them, were put in place.

There are eleven of them and they can be seen from a few of the holes on his course, the building of which was also contentious! I doubt that the presence of the turbines causes the visiting golfers to miss too many putts!
