Hoodoos

We were pressed for time today as we drove almost 500 miles from outside of Zion National Park to Eagle, CO. Not much time for sightseeing, but we couldn't pass up the hoodoos of the Bryce Canyon area. At the advice of our local friends, we passed on Bryce Canyon National Park and viewed a variety of rock formations in Red Canyon. They call it mini-Bryce and it is easy to see why. Waaaaay fewer people, and the rocks are easily accessible after a short hike.
