The Many Adventures of Minny Blipper

He saw an unfamiliar sight.  There was Monsieur le Chef toddling towards them, but he seemed different somehow.  Marie turned around and gave a little shriek.

Papa.... you have a spider on your face!

Ah, my leetle munchkins, you 'ave noticed, no!!  I 'ave grown ze moustache, so I would look even more French than I do already.

It will take a bit of getting used to, said Marie.  What does Marianne think?

She 'asn't seen it yet.  It will be ze surprise, I think.

Secretly Minny was a little envious.  He would love to have hair - no-one had yet realised that he always wore a hat because he was bald.

He scooted up the ladder, looking for some better sleeping accommodation.  For the life of him he couldn't see where he and Monsieur le Chef were going to have a kip.  The bed was barely big enough for Marie and Marianne; and there was only one settee which was meant for sitting not for sleeping.  He thought he might sleep in the boat, the weather was warm enough, but what about the mozzies?

He sighed, and looked around him.  The view was pretty from up on high, and he saw some trees and a pair of iron gates he hadn't noticed before.

And then he saw..... and heard.......
