Calf

We went to Hesketh Farm Park today near Bolton Abbey... a working farm with things to do and play with and on for little and not so little children.

This is one of this year’s calves in the shed.

L loved seeing the lambs, calves, pigs (and brushing them with a broom) and the other animals. However, most of all, it was tractor heaven for L with little ones to ride on about a track and real ones to sit on, climb over and have a bumpy ride in the trailer across the fields! We couldn’t have wiped the smile off of her face even if we’d wanted to.

Back to Nanna and Pops’ house afterwards for a cuppa before returning to our apartment for dinner. N has gone out with his brother and co this evening to watch the football.
