Pileated Woodpecker

We had a special visitor today in our garden today...a Pileated  Woodpecker! I heard her call first then saw her. She stayed for a little while looking for bugs on the nearby trees but then flew over our house away heading south west. They are fairly large birds around they size of a crow. I have only seen this type of woodpecker twice before. A cool surprise!
