Today has been damp, dreichy, and at times frustrating. My Mum and Dad went home, Youngest Son missed his bus, Eldest Son didn't make an appointment, the steam room was out of order. But listening to the news about Gaza and Israel, I feel fortunate to be able to sit here in peace and safety with my cappuccino, watching people swim up and down in the pool.
