Plastic

I'm becoming more and more angry at the amount of plastic I have to throw away. It's so unnecessary and terrible for the environment. Having to shop on a budget means that sometimes I have to buy from cheap supermarkets (no fruit and veg market particularly easy to get to with a newborn in tow) and live with the fact that everything comes wrapped in plastic.
However I've lately had enough and decided to just cut back a bit in other places to allow us to buy fruit and veg at our local greengrocer. It is more expensive but means we are both supporting a local business and cutting back on plastic.
Here are just a few bits we bought this week, the extra photo is about a third of the plastic we throw away just from one lot of shopping!
