We had a flurry of snow this morning. The Rangers had broken the ice on the pond at the country park to allow access to the water for the swans. It must have been so cold!
I was really upset to read in the local paper that the young swan I blipped a few weeks ago had to be put to sleep as some mindless, wicked youths had used it as a target for their airgun and left it fatally wounded. Killing swans is seen as treason as they all belong to the Queen. This used to carry a death penalty - that would be too good for these cruel, mindless morons.
Thank you to everyone for the kind birthday wishes yesterday. I had a lovely day and I am still a bit hungover from the celebration!
Have a lovely Saturday everyone.
