Worth the extra effort

Why are the biggest and best blackberries always out of reach, but with a little extra effort I managed to reach them.
There is an abundance this year, and it didn't take me long to pick 5lbs.
Some for pies, some to go in the freezer, and some to make blackberry jelly.
All delicious.

With hard work and that extra effort our eldest granddaughter has achieved amazing grades in her exams, and come September will be a student paediatric nurse at Huddersfield University.
To say we are proud is an understatement.

Also congratulations to all those other students who have worked hard and got good results too. I wish them all well for the future.
