Thatched Cottage

One of the many thatched cottages that are in our village. They all seem to be at awkward angles for photographing, as most are tucked down little tracks off the main lane.
I took this on our walk this evening - our son and daughter-in-law are cooking tonight. He fancied pheasant as neither our daughter-in-law nor our grandsons have eaten it before. He bought a brace from a local butcher, a couple of days ago; they were frozen, but by this afternoon they had thawed nicely (in the fridge as guidelines recommend!!).  I must say that it does smell good - we are now back home, and they are still cooking so we're looking forward to a treat.
My extra is Ziggy, caught red-pawed. He's not suppose to be on our bed, but his excuse was that he was guarding my hand-bag.
