Alnwick Garden & Alnmouth

Today I visited Alnwick Gardens, an interesting wander round. I chose  Tommy which is a symbol of remembrance created by the charity Remembrance as part of their project "There But Not There" to commemorate, to educate and to help heal those suffering from post-traumatic disorder and other legacies of combat. 
Liked the owl and also the hover flies on this gorgeous colour lily.  The two other shots were taken at Alnmouth, a lovely walk, nice craft shop and a cuppa.  I returned to Alnwick and went to Barter Books just as the only rain of the week arrived!  A good place to be and it only lasted about an hour, yes I did buy a book!
