Heron

Third time lucky; you have to laugh.
Tuesday, posing heron, but no telephoto lens.
Wednesday, return with lens, no heron. (Goosander was good consolation)
Thursday, different location, where I think I've seen a heron maybe half a dozen times in over ten years; there's one posing !

Not as sharp as I would have liked, hand held in very low light to get a couple of shots, then he flew off before I got the tripod set up. Ahh well, maybe next time.
