After stone hopping

I guess it was actually a mixture of flying and jumping. This Kawau tui (Little black shag) landed on a smaller stone a bit further out from Milford Beach. In three of these "hops", it moved onto the biggest stone where it spread its wings out to dry.

I was there after dropping S and Tsuken at North Shore Hospital to visit S' mother (visitors limited to two at a time). She is still struggling with her breathing, and the physiotherapist wants her to stay in the rehab ward for a short period of reconditioning. We hope she agrees; she dislikes being anywhere but her own home, so will need some encouragement.

We are going out for a family dinner soon.
