Out on the town with mum

Mum arrived today for her birthday weekend and wanted to see Tommy Steel playing Glen Miller. Although it’s only been a short run it hasn’t had the attendance they maybe expected, so we got £20 tickets 1hr before curtain up and sat 2nd row of the Dress Circle, perfect.
Tommy, same age as mum who is 82 on Sat, sounded great and has loads of charisma. Marty Webb was supporting and i was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
Unfortunately Tommy doesn’t come to the stage door when he’s done a matinee too, shame for my groupie mum.
