Well spotted

This morning my friend (with the new boots) and I walked over to the next village, round the windmill and back home.  The idea was to see if the boots were fit for purpose and as we had to cross two newly scarified fields and there was a down and an up, it seemed a reasonable exercise.

This afternoon I've been out with my young friend and his camera, looking for butterflies and grasshoppers.  We also discovered that we share a birthday and that there's only sixty years between us.  How cool is that?

I've blipped plenty of butterflies this summer but decided to settle on this one today, just to show how tiny these Brown Argus butterflies are and how difficult they are to spot.
