Flower Friday

Sunflower peeping over the hedge from next door. This is a giant plant this year - over 8 feet high., and it looks as though there are lots more flowers to come. I call them happy flowers. Just noticed that my apple tree is weighed down with fruit, and the damsons are in huge bunches on the adjacent tree - lots of potential for damson gin to be ready by Christmas then!! Out for a meal in a while with the “ladies who travel” - hoping for a fun evening!
