Da Gairden in August

A fine sunny day, the odd shower first thing.  Warm and sunny until late afternoon, then clouded over and showers.  Fairly windy all day.

I've been working on the museum desk all day again, and a busy day with tours, talks, trips and workshops.  There has also been a cruise ship in Lerwick.  No rest for the wicked, I'm also working all night in the museum too.  There's a talk on, and the restaurant is open too.  Hopefully get finished early.

My garden certainly has plenty of colour in it now, and a haven for bees, insects and birds.  It's a bit of a mess this year, but I'll have more to start with next year, and maybe try some better planning.  This is part of the flower beds we put in earlier this year.  Taken at Hawthorn Cottage, Houl Road, Scalloway.
