A late afternoon gathering at the Deanery for drinks and snacks, before we all, about a dozen of us,  headed off to the local cinema together to watch "Mission Impossible - Fallout".  The usual nail-biting-edge-of-seat  impossible scenarios that Mr Cruise et al do so entertainingly.  Two and a half hours of it.  Thus ends my first full week back in Istanbul. 

The Oleander is growing near the music department.
