Coffee to go

She was in the ferry lineup, making coffee on her camp stove.
We went into the city today for G's afternoon appointment at the pain clinic.  Hoping that the injections will give him some relief from back pain.
We had a few things to do before his appointment and everything went smoothly until we went for a late breakfast, thinking we had plenty of time. The cafe was really busy, but we didn't expect a lengthy wait for our meal. After an hour, we had to cancel our order because we would have been late for the appointment if we waited any longer. We've eaten there several times with no problem. The server was so apologetic, but it wasn't his fault that they were short-staffed in the kitchen.  We were given a gift certificate for two free meals, so we'll take advantage of that next time we're in the city.
On the way home, there was an accident on the highway.  Always awful to see and hear ambulances and fire engines speeding down the highway behind you, then paramedics helping the injured and part of the road blocked by damaged vehicles.  We didn't hear any details on the news when we got home.
