Minimalist movement

How to convey movement without ending up with a blurry mess? This is a reflection of a reed made very wiggly by the movement of the water. 

I went on a bike ride this morning first for a few weeks,  and about a mile from home a wasp got itself stuck between my eye and my glasses. I panicked, chucked my bike to the ground followed by my glasses followed by myself, luckily nothing was coming. 
I now have at least two stings and look like the victim of a mugging. It felt as though I had been hit over the face with a very hard thing. After anti-inflammatories and paracetamol and several hours it has now eased off to merely very sore. 
Must wear goggles in future.
