Manche to the Med day 14

Day 14 Vias to Narbonne to home!

After breakfast on the beach we packed the tent for the last time. Then 28 miles to do and we picked up a stonking head wind all the way, but we had all day. It was quite a battle. We tried a trackimuctrackface as Mr PB called them but luckily it fizzled out and we were back on the road. The track felt like we were heading into the desert.

We had a few hours sightseeing in Narbonne which  was very pleasant visiting the unfinished cathedral and underground Roman cellars under the city and then a quick whiz round the palace.

We pivked up some grocerys them cycled to the Ibis Hotel to find our coach home. Mmm no coach, wrong Ibis - turns out there's another one 5 miles east. I was nearly sick with stress. Luckily we had plenty of time! Nothing like a bit of stress to end the trip. Good kob Mr PB is an amazimg route finder! Now we're safely settled on the coach for the long trip back. I have had a fantastic 2 weeks.
