Glover Duck!

Glover Duck*, my Yeovil Town FC-themed ornament has been in celebratory mood all day, following last night's 4-0 win away to Notts County. The kids bought him for me a few years ago and he hasn't had too many chances to celebrate since!

We continued our excellent start to the season with more exciting football and this time managed to take our chances. We're beginning to hope that we might be in for a decent season.

We've had a pleasant day with Kate, Sophie & Joel, who came over to join us this morning with a swim inthe pool and a bit of shopping for them this afternoon.

* "Cor, love a duck!" was one of my Dad's favourite exclamations and The Glovers club nickname derives from the history of glove making in the Yeovil area, so I sort of combined the two for the name, especially as watching Yeovil often induces exclamations of a more colourful nature.
