Bürgenstock

Memorable Saturday. Well timed, nice weather and a first time hike. Took the boat to Beckenried and walked from Ennetbürgen up to Bürgenstock (3h). A mix of gentle incline, steep stretches and a “scary” part high above the lake with tunnels and rocks (Felsenweg). We also explored the famous Heimetschwand elevator the first time (blip).

From Bürgenstock down with the renovated cogwheel railway and on with the shuttle boat to Lucern. The crews talked to each other so that the boat back to our hotel waited a few minutes before departing so we could make it. Back at the hotel at 3pm, swim, apero, getting ready for a family dinner. My brother and I celebrated our mothers 87th birthday with my father and our partners. Relaxed evening at the lake,
