Big bird(s)

I was all set to blip a dull shot of the view from our end-of-busy-day terrace beer, and then this happened. I guess we’re already into stork migration season, and these two are staying the night here. After an unseemly battle over the top of the house (which looks big enough for two to me), the one on the right won that spot, and the other has chosen the tallest tree in the garden instead. Fabulous to see them.

Earlier, a day of some shopping for me, and much achievement all round: the basketball hoop is in its new place, the cushion shed is built, the house is cleaner, and the rabbits are off to their holiday camp. Meanwhile, four bags are not quite packed for our short but sweet summer holiday.
