It Was A Good First Day

Up before dawn for an early morning flight. The queues at Leeds Bradford Airport were out of the door and we were checked in by the sloth from Zoopolis..he was so slow that Eldest and I got a fit of the giggles, but we got through eventually.

All very civilised, good flight to Malaga, suitcases all arrived safely, easy car hire pick up and a nice drive to our villa at Fuente de Piedra situated about midway between Malaga and Seville, the only slight hiccup was when my google maps crashed at a large intersection and Mr Kit was waiting for my directions!

Our villa is stunning and it wasn’t long before our holiday companions Family White arrived, we had the Prosecco Cava poured and we were raising our glasses to two weeks of fun and sunshine.

Rather than cooking, we went into the local town for dinner. The town square was buzzing with a stage and disco and all the bars and restaurants were busy. We had a lovely tapas meal and Mrs White and Eldest had plenty of opportunities to practice their Spanish. It was a good first day.
