Beets

We kept meaning to pick up some beets from the supermarket. When they are 99c a bunch it would be silly not to!

Roasted for 45 mins with some salt, pepper and olive oil and jobs a good ‘un. We even had the leaves and stems for breakfast. Pretty high bang for your buck (or less than a buck in this case!)

More importantly, we didn’t stain anything in the process!
