Rambutan Fruit

A hairy little fruit found mostly in Malaysia and South Eastern Asia. Now grown in dry and fairly hot climates. It has a different flavor, and works well in salads as a semi-sweet fruit. High in vitamin C.

Sold locally and listed imported from Guatemala. 

I posted them on my hat and took a few photos, this one was cut open so you could see the fruit inside (on the right) and the open other half.

Very interesting.
