Learning to fly.

As I arrived at the ponds later this morning I was aware of great flapping of wings - I realised the cygnets were in the middle of a flying lesson and I only managed to catch a few frames. They looked so comical as they ploughed through the water and really seemed to enjoy themselves. After the flying they indulged in some aqua-acrobatics and rather extravagant preening - see my extra photo.
