An early call to the c home to see how the night went, apparently she was still 'Out of sorts', and had refused to take her meds last night too.
She was complaining of leg pains. But later on, when I arrived, she had been eating and was in a much better place. Jo the activity organiser had an interchangeable group of 6 or 7 in one of the central gardens, and we read poems and rhymes, whilst I massaged Jeanie's sore leg. She also had a bruise on her chin but she did not mention the back of her head. The carers had done a good job at cleaning her up, and she had not pulled any of the staples out, (apparently that sometimes happens with dementia patients). They always have cream cakes on Sunday, and she enjoyed hers, I enjoyed mine too! I came away as the poetry session carried on. So glad that she was in a better place today.
