Seems a long time ago...

Only a few months ago we were watching The Modern Pentathlon here in Greenwich Park.

The country was full of optimism and joy (that's how I am remembering it...!)

Now, it's grey and cold and dark and Olympic mascots are cut price in the Official Olympic Supermarket.

I am glad that Son #1 and 2 made it to the Olympics.

I am so glad we managed, as a country, to triumph over our sometimes downbeat view of ourselves.

Can I triumph over 10 Triple during Period 2? Oh yes....
