The last dance? Not quite..

Colin and I have followed the Scottish band Runrig since 1981. This year marks 45 years of performing and touring and the guys have decided to call it a day with a farewell concert in Stirling at the end of their summer tour of Europe. The Last Dance event proved so popular they had to put on another date. I didn't manage to get tickets for the final concert on Saturday 18th August, but did manage to get four for the Friday one. This shot is of Donnie Munro, the band's original lead singer warming up the 25000 crowd for the main act later on. And what a finale it was, an unforgettable, emotional experience.
