Looking for a dry place to perch

this beautiful little Crimson Rosella was absolutely saturated after several hours of rain, but she risked it all to come and have a feed at our bird feeder. After she had her fill, she quietly sat and waited for the rain to ease.

I just loved the way her feathers retained the water - "Wet Dog Look"
