We went to M&C for lunch. Good food & good company.

Not long after we got home C got a text from R to ask it we have water.  We didn't. The pipe bringing water to our two house were damaged in one of the fields around us. 

Anglian Water could not get involved because the pipe is on private land, the land owner doesn't work the land, the farmer who works the land used contractors on that field, the contractors only planted turf and didn't go deep enough to reach the pipe and the person in control is at a wedding in Ireland.

AW brought us bottled water for drinking and the farmer will do his best to get it sorted. We'll wait in precipitation (and may have to drink beer and wine to avoid running out of bottled water)
