Back blip from Queensland

It was another lovely warn sunny day. I went for my morning swim. Late in the afternoon we took the ferry up to Tewantin. We had a walk around the town then stopped off at the RSL for a meal.

The name Tewantin is an Anglicised version of the Aboriginal name for the area, dauwadhum, meaning place of dead logs.Tewantin was originally a timber town. In 1869, Tewantin was the river port for the Noosa area.
