En memoria de las victimas que dieron su vida por la libertad de sus pueblos.
Que su recuerdo y sus sacrificios perduren para siempre en el pensamiento de los vivos
These words are written in on this memorial. They were written as a homage to some people in the town where I live who left their homeland after having fought during the Civil War with the Republican army and died in the Nazi Concentration Camps.
... so as their names will never be forgotten.
