Schloss Arenenberg

Hortense de Beauharnais, adopted daughter and sister-in-law of Napoleon I, lived here in the early years of the 20th century with her son Louis Napoleon, who later became Emperor Napoleon III. 
In my childhood my godfather managed the estate. When I was there for holidays we often visited the palace and I remember that I felt like a princess.
