Gently down the stream

Wet commute home

Wow, what foul weather, wasn't it, fog and dark all day? And this morning I had my flu jab. But Winchester's Christmas lights went on last night and on my way home I decided to blip them.

The statue of King Alfred (sculptor Hamo Thorneycroft, erected 1901) is iconic Winchester and initially I thought I might just get a different kind of shot of him, seen backview through the lit tree on the roundabout. But by then it was raining quite hard and I lowered the camera and suddenly the combination with car lights seemed fun. So here you have it...

Hooray, the weekend again. Talk to you later..
