The disused lighthouse (built c 1950) at the entrance lock to Leith harbour.

The large flat area to the left of the image was the base for a large semaphore to signal ships. Today a smaller lighthouse is positioned on the north side of the lock entrance and the lock movement control is by traffic lights and ship to shore radio.
