Wide Wednesday

With a deterioration in Freckle's condition, yesterday the vet suggested that walks were a no-no. Instead she was just to be allowed to "potter round the garden". Unfortunately I wasn't able to explain this to Freckle, so Lottie and I left her at the gate, watching us set off without her........ and she was still there when we got back. I don't think she'd done much "pottering".

However, on the positive side, Lottie and I were able to have a longer walk through the quarry field, which is where we came across these sheep. Despite the ominous sky it has been a lovely day, dry and mild with spells of sunshine.
