River colours on Uig Sands

There are some lovely colours in the river that flows along the side of the bay, past Baile-na-Cille, and out into the Atlantic. These can be seen in my blip for today. Baile-na-Cille is to the left of my shot, and Simon’s cottage on the right. The photograph was taken from the site of a pretty crop of harebells (see the extra).

Today we have indulged in all the usual Baile-na-Cille activities: eating, reading, playing Scrabble, walking, and general lounging about like teenagers in a house that we are treating like a hotel! We also went out for lunch - just up the road to the community café, of course.

The main point of interest on our walk was the sighting of an eagle in the spot over Crowlista where we have seen them before.

Exercise today: walking (10,744 steps)
