Victoria Tower, Castle Hill

WEDNESDAY

The odd bright moment in the office first thing this morning and I managed to get out into the sun later and, after a visit,  took a detour via Castle  Hill. The tower itself is a Grade II listed structure, but before the tower the site was a bronze age hill fort and a 12th Century motte and bailey castle. There is currently an archaeological dig in progress. According to the local newspaper the only thing they have found to date is litter.

The Apple dealer has now completely refused to take any responsibility for wrecking my iPhone. It was in perfect condition when they took it in for an authorised battery replacement and broken when they returned it.
