Apple harvest

A friend brought us some apples today..... a whole laundry basket full of them..... she has two big apple trees and the harvest has been huge this year.

I have been giving some of them away, still have too many for my needs.   Will freeze some for crumbles in the winter, but my freezer is pretty full just now.

It has been a mixed day with the weather, some nice sunshine, but also some quite heavy showers.  And a bit cooler.
