Bennett's Mouth

Camera Club summer Walk today took us to the village of  Mortehoe. The weather didn't look very bright and it was very windy. So went prepared with water proof and fleece. One of our members Fred, suggested that we went a bit earlier as there was a walk he suggested we did as I hadn't seen the Bull Point Lighthouse. We went via the pretty route through a wood, which brought us out to the east of the light, and past some beautiful scenery to Bennett's mouth. Now who Bennett was I have no idea, but a super spot.
Then up on to the South West Coast path to the Lighthouse, around to Rockham Bay. It was good to see the steps, which lead down to the beach had been replaced after the storms. From there we took the easy route (that is what Fred said!) back up to the village, where we met with others members for a meal in the Ship Aground Inn.

Thank you for dropping in and for your rewards, very much appreciated as always.
