water-water everywhere

A herd of cows enjoying their own private swimming pool in the bottom paddock. We drove through the Chittering Valley this afternoon, with the recent rains most of it seems to have fallen in the valley, the river banks were bursting, we enjoyed the lush greenness all around us as we drove through the hills, it wont be long before the heat from the summer sun dries everything, the rivers lakes an the lovely green grass, thats Australia for you its not called the sunburnt country for nothing.
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains
Of ragged mountain ranges
Of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons
I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror –
The wide brown land for me!
