Day 236/18. Postman Butterfly

This Central American butterfly is named the Postman as it repeats a 'round' of flowers over and over in a day.
The passion flower vines they eat when young help them to store toxic chemicals they then retain for the rest of their lives as a deterrent from predators. This butterfly is poisonous and features bright patterns on its wings as a warning.
So, this foul-tasting butterfly has little to fear from predators
