A Dramatic Comedic Performance
By Giles Brandreth at the Edinburgh festival. It was very funny and well done. We were right at the front. I always check from the ushers if he picks on people at the front. They said he didn’t, so that was cool and we had an excellent view. The show was about his life and all the famous, mainly actors that he had met and funny stories about them. It was witty and professional and right for our age group although I do very much like the younger comedians. His son is doing a show that might be good.
We then went for a delicious curry at a South Indian style restaurant. I embarrassed my friends somewhat by going to speak to Richard Cole.,. The TV minister....... we talked about religion, very affably. He is a nice fellow. On the train home again.
