The People of today meet the building of yesterday

Today we met up with Chantler63 for another WEX photography session - this time on photographing culturally and historically significant buildings.  It was a bit of a new experience for all of us With the focus on showing the truth of a place and thinking about how to get that accurately and, indeed, to think about what that truth might actually be.  We were in Greenwich so there was lots going on.  For this shot, we had been challenged to show the connection between how people use the market now and the historic nature of the market building.OK...  Greenwich market was established in the 1700s and it is still a lively and thriving market hall albeit slightly titivated now.  I thought this image showed the truth of how things are there now, culturally and within the historical context...  An interestingly challenging and VERY tiring day.

Thank you all for your lovely comments on my 2000th Blip is a viaduct Blip yesterday.  You are all there somewhere on the viaduct and I am so pleased to be able to call you all friends...  We made it to number four spot on the Popular pages.
