Wound up in Wexford

Gladiolus murielae

I'm somewhat lacking blip mojo at the moment.

This photo was actually taken so we could look up this species, and see if we could buy it cheaper than the garden centre.  It was beside the entrance (you can see the trolleys in the background) and caught our eye.  But I didn't take any more photos all day.

In the end, we did buy a pot of these gladioli.  I think we'll probably leave it in a pot, as it is not fully hardy, and that means we can put it in the polytunnel, or even inside, if it gets very cold.  After last winter played havoc with our fuchsias, we will be much more aware of our slightly tender plants in coming years.
