HELP!!!!!!!

Calling all blippers who are or know tree surgeons, gardeners, forestry commission workers, biologists.
I’m such an idiot, I sprayed Round Up down the length of my newly laid garden slate path a couple of weeks ago, this leads up to a well established 50ft approx conifer. Totally didn’t think about what I was doing, and now, understandably the tree is yellowing at intervals all up the length of the tree. Can anyone advise what the best course of action is here? Can it be saved? Damage limited or reversed? I feel terrible that I’ve caused this. Any advise would be gratefully received.
