History

This morning Michael had to give a talk on the history of the Eire sign on St John's Point for heritage week (he was involved in the restoration work), due to a mix up in the advertising this was the 3rd talk this week & today was the best weather for it. These were used during WW2 to provide navigation markers to the pilots crossing the Atlantic, even though Ireland declared itself neutral.
